The objective of each AQRP Research Project is to improve the scientific understanding of air quality issues in the State of Texas. Areas of study include continuing improvement in characterizing emission sources from industrial operations, deployment of advanced measurement instruments in natural gas production regions, studies of industrial flares, both in production operations and in controlled burn situations, and a variety of improvements to air quality modeling tools.

Each biennium the AQRP announces a Request For Proposals and selects projects for funding from the proposals that are submitted. Information on current and past projects can be viewed by selecting from the categories on the left.
